Protect, strengthen or improve
Veneers, crowns and bridges can protect and strengthen damaged teeth, improve the appearance of your smile by correcting alignment and bite, and enhancing a tooth's appearance and shape.
What is a crown?
If you have a damaged, cracked or broken down tooth, a restoration called a dental crown (or cap) can be created which will sit over your existing tooth, covering the entire outer surface. The crown restoration protects your damaged tooth to preserve its functionality.
What is a bridge?
If you have a gap, or space, between two teeth, it can cause the remaining teeth to shift which can result in a bad bite. A bridge restoration can be created which replaces the missing tooth and bridges the gap. The 'bridge' will be fixed onto the teeth either side of the gap. This solution requires the teeth on either side of the gap to be healthy and strong, since it is these surrounding teeth which will support the bridge.
